Every site presents challenges. I'll work with you to turn
these challenges into advantages, finding innovative solutions
to potentially difficult design problems. In addition, I
will maintain close contact with you throughout the planning
and production process, building in regular approval points
for each step to ensure that you get the site you envisioned
and more.
PLANNING: Planning starts with
one or two face-to-face meetings to discuss important details
about the project, including goals, content, structure,
aesthetics, maintenance and budget.
At this point, you'll receive a "storyboard"
or chart representing the site's proposed navigational flow,
and mockups for the site's graphic interface. These will
demonstrate ways that images, text and navigational elements
might be used to provide the site with a unified look and
feel.
PRODUCTION: Once you've given your approval to all
site designs, production moves forward with content development
and programming/scripting the site's interactive elements
(i.e., email forms, discussion boards). Again, approval
points will be built into this process to ensure that you
get the site you want.
TESTING: We will test the site thoroughly on our
server, looking at it on a variety of systems, browsers
and monitors to ensure that it is accessible to as wide
an audience as possible.
POST-PRODUCTION: After fine-tuning, we'll launch
the site on your web host.
